1. Introduction

This Terms and Conditions contract outlines the expectations and obligations for parents, guardians, and students over the age of 18 participating in any of the programs offered by The Harmonic Academy of Music. By enrolling a student in our programs, Parents agree to adhere to the terms outlined herein.

2. Behavior and Conduct

  • Parents commit to fostering a positive and respectful learning environment by encouraging courteous behavior and cooperation among students, staff, and fellow parents.
  • Parents will ensure that their child's behavior aligns with the Academy's code of conduct, refraining from disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful actions that may impact the learning experience of others.
  • Parents will promptly address any behavioral concerns brought to their attention by Academy staff and collaborate with staff to find appropriate solutions.

3. Payments and Financial Obligations

  • Parents agree to pay the specified program fees according to the payment schedule provided by the Academy.
  • Any outstanding balances must be settled promptly. Failure to do so may result in the student's suspension from the program.
  • In case of financial difficulties, Parents will communicate with the Academy to explore available options and establish a mutually agreeable resolution.

4. Withdrawal and Refunds

  • If Parents choose to withdraw their child from the program, they must provide written notice to the Academy within the stipulated withdrawal period to be eligible for a refund.
  • Refund eligibility is subject to the Academy's refund policy, which may take into account the time of withdrawal and administrative costs.

5. Communication

  • Parents commit to maintaining open and respectful communication with Academy staff, responding to inquiries, updates, and notifications in a timely manner.
  • The Academy will communicate important announcements, updates, and information through the specified channels, and Parents are responsible for staying informed.

6. Confidentiality

Parents acknowledge that certain information about the Academy, its programs, and other families may be shared. Parents agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information and not to disclose it to third parties without proper authorization.

7. Amendments and Termination

The Academy reserves the right to amend or modify these terms as needed, with prior notice to Parents. In case of persistent breaches of this Contract, the Academy retains the right to terminate a student's participation in the program.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Contract shall be governed by the laws of Ontario. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Contract shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If no resolution is reached, either party may pursue legal action in accordance with applicable laws.
